It is possible for our students to do their internships at home or abroad, in public institutions and organizations or in the private sector that meet the conditions and are approved by the Department Internship Commission.
In order for students to receive a Bachelor’s Degree, in addition to the courses included in the 8-semester education program; They must also successfully complete their 60-day compulsory internship in domestic or international tourism enterprises. Educational activities at our faculty consist of four years and eight semesters (excluding the optional preparatory class). Theoretical courses in our faculty; Applied lessons are held in the Application Kitchen located in our building and according to the content of the course; It is held at the Ahmet Muhip Dıranas Uygulama Oteli affiliated with our faculty.
Conditions regarding clothing and equipment required by the profession:
In vocational practices, since there are some sports and art-oriented courses that students can choose according to their interests and abilities, and outdoor activities that can be done in natural areas, students should be provided with clothes and shoes that will provide personal comfort in sports and basic performing arts to be performed in open and closed areas, making the student more comfortable in physical activities. will enable it to do so. Students who want to take elective courses for water sports must provide the equipment for these courses themselves. Simple stationery and make-up materials will also be provided by the students to improve their manual skills and aesthetic understanding.
In the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Kitchen Workshop, aprons, bonnets, masks, gloves and slippers are used to ensure hygiene conditions. The workshop, which is built on an area of 140 m2, has industrial and domestic stoves, purpose-built ovens, coolers, freezers and storage cabinets. In addition, there are types of knives, cutting boards and basic materials needed for cooking, classified according to purpose.

Education at our faculty is free of charge and the principles determined by the Council of Higher Education for state universities are valid. Materials required for some course practices include personal clothing, caps, aprons, etc. that will enable students to comfortably perform physical activities in the venues. materials; Students who want to take elective courses related to water sports must purchase swimsuits, swim caps, fins, towels, etc. The supply of materials will be done by the students.

The Faculty of Tourism started to provide services in the Vocational School building located within the Faculty of Science and Letters campus. In addition to the Faculty, School and Vocational School buildings within the campus, there is a sports facility with the Central Library, Student Life Center, Stadium, AstroTurf Field, Volleyball Court, Basketball Court and Tennis Court; It provides opportunities for sports activities of our students, and their food and social needs are met with the cafeteria and dining hall located on the campus.
The campus where our faculty is located is approximately eight kilometers from the city center, approximately two and a half kilometers from the airport, approximately one and a half kilometers from the bus terminal, and approximately one kilometer from the state hospital. Some of the dormitories are within walking distance.

Our faculty continues its education on the second floor of the Vocational School building located on the campus of the Faculty of Science and Letters.
In order to continue education and training activities in the best way, there are 4 Lecture Halls, 10 Classrooms, 1 Computer Laboratory, 1 Application Kitchen, equipped in accordance with today’s conditions, as well as a Men’s/Women’s Prayer Room and a Canteen with a capacity of 110 people (indoor area). In addition, our building has the Orange Flag, which is the ‘Venue Accessibility’ flag for barrier-free access, allowing disabled students to receive a more comfortable education within the campus borders.

In our university, monthly menus are planned based on the characteristics of our students, meeting their energy needs, in accordance with the principles of adequate and balanced nutrition and seasonal characteristics.
