The 9th Career Days, organized by our faculty, brought our students together with leading representatives of the tourism sector.
The event, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ercan Karaçar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aydın Ünal, and Lecturer Emre Akmanoğlu, and launched with an opening speech by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Gül Erkol Bayram, featured presentations by: Gönül Elbir, an expert in CV preparation techniques and interview preparation from İŞKUR; Selim Acar, Executive Chef of Vikingen Infinity Resort & Spa; Ali Vuruşkan, Executive Chef of Numa Konaktepe Hotel, and his assistant Chef Hacı Musa Acat; Yunus Emre Fırat, Ali Furkan Çetin, Mehmet Yurdakul, and Gamze Karaman, representatives from Elbis Hotel; and finally, representatives from ETS Tur, who participated online to share their industry experiences and provide valuable information on career planning.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr., visited the hall where the event was held. Şakir Taşdemir, emphasizing the importance of such organizations that contribute to the career development of students, stated that efforts to strengthen university-industry collaboration will continue, and then presented plaques to the participants, expressing his gratitude for their contributions.
